We awoke to a grey day today - we were in no rush to get home as my car (the one that will eventually get us home, once we drop the motor home off) has failed it’s MOT! The garage that normally does our vehicles couldn’t fit us in, so Chris (our son) got us into a little place near Liskeard. The car wouldn’t be ready til 5.30 so that gave us time to travel home at a leisurely pace. We awoke in the night to the sound of the M25 roaring away all night - nothing but essential travel! Thank god for the sound of some normality. We head down the motorway but very soon I need the loo and the onboard one has been cleaned and sorted, so we have to stop at motorway services - that was a relief for both Tom and myself 😂. We then motored onto Axminster where we had another short break and made a coffee - we then got on our way again and we were at the garage by 4.30. The car was ready by around 6. We needed to get the house keys from Chris and he was still in the office, so we stopped by and talked to him through the glass partition of the office. It was really hard not to be able to give him a hug, I can tell you. But lovely to see him and we got home around 7.30. There is nothing like home is there. We have had a wonderful time and have been blessed in so many ways. Thank you for coming on our journey with us - I hope you have learnt a bit about moho travel in Europe - during what turned out to be very testing times. Take care all and nighty night.
